Everybody's Workin' for the Weekend

As promised, here are some pictures of what was accomplished at The Stone Church workday this past weekend.
One of  the two stage walls we built... soon we will hang those speakers!

Front view of the two tin walls we built. Looks so much better!
But that projector really needs to come down...

Coffee center... not quite finished, but still excellent. We'll add some trim and
hang a mirror so you can check yourself out while you get coffee.
("Hey, everybody, come see how good I look!")

Danny Dukes rehearsing on Sunday morning. Yes, this is just rehearsal, we
actually have more than just 2 people in the crowd during services.... most days.
It's a great thing to be able to work together to make our building a more accommodating place for people on Sunday morning. It gives us a chance to get to know each other, have conversations, and eat pizza build relationships, all while cutting metal and wood, measuring (twice!), and then nailing those objects together to make something new.

A great tie-in to our DIY series about building (get it?) disciplines in our own lives.

The building may have some value, but what is happening in the community and in peoples lives is infinitely more valuable.

*New images in the gallery section!
Spoiler alert: it's our DIY logo - I know, I know.. exciting, right?
